Software Installation

The client used by IOS is called Shadowrocket, priced at $2.99 USD. However, it is not available in the Chinese App Store. If you want to purchase it, you will need a US Apple ID and a $3 USD recharge card, both of which can be found on Taobao. Luckily, if you search for “小火箭” (Little Rocket) on Taobao, you may find a store that offers a one-time download (the store will lend you the Apple ID, you can log out after downloading the software).

Set up Server Subscription

First, go to the home page of the app, click on the + in the upper right corner to enter the “Add Node” interface.

1. Node Type: Subscribe
2. URL: Enter the subscription link provided by the service provider.
3. Click Done.

After clicking Done, the software will start updating the subscription. Once the update is successful, select a node, turn on the VPN switch, and you can start using it. The first time you use it, it will request VPN setting permission. If you see the VPN icon in the status bar of your phone, the setup is successful.

Set up Autoupdate Subscription

From the bottom menu bar, select Settings » Subscription, and enable Update when opened and Autoupdate in the background.
